11db Directional Coupler has compact and rugged design for space-constrained applications.The 03KDC-3.4^5G-10S is an ultra high directivity 3400MHz to 5000MHz, 10 dB unidirectional coupler. The stripline design exhibits excellent coupling flatness and VSWR at all ports.Applications include reflectometry (return loss) measurements,level monitoring, etc. Custom designs are also available, contact the factory for details.

Directional Coupler

Note

A coupler allows the user to sample power on a transmission line with a given coupling factor. Crucially, a directional coupler will (ideally) sample power in just one direction, discriminating between forward and backward travel signals. The selectivity with which the coupler can select between front and reverse waves is called directionality, and is usually the most important factor in selecting a directional coupler. Other important factors include return loss, coupling value, coupling leveling, insertion loss, and power handling.
